The Grandest old Hoax

Isn't it time for the "Madelyn Murray O'Hair getting religious broadcasting off the air" hoax to make the rounds again?   It's been decades. Oops, I should not have said that.  Somebody will pick it up and get it going again. She's been dead for a long time but  wherever she is, she will be glad to know she is still famous.  Or infamous.

Church people ain't all bad

I like church people.  The ones I know personally are not ignorant fools or dangerous nut cases. They are pretty good people.

Been to heaven?

A commentator about the "I went to heaven" books came up with an interesting phrase.  "Bad heaven theology."
I would say it in more down-to-earth fashion.  "Goofy ideas about what happens when you die." The goofier they are, the more books and movie tickets they sell.  
Is that terribly cynical?  I suppose it is.  Let us hope cynics do not go to hell.
